1. Wipe up spills immediately.

Immediate removal of a contaminant will prevent the particles that can discolor your tile from seeping into the surface of your flooring. Use a rag to wipe up large spills, then follow up with a gentle detergent to ensure a stain doesn't form.
2. Treat stains with hydrogen peroxide.
If you are unable to wipe up a spill before it leaves behind a stain, then you can use hydrogen peroxide to help you remove the spot.
Hydrogen peroxide bubbles up when it comes into contact with other substances. This foaming action helps to agitate the particles that make up a stain on your tile flooring. 3. Use club soda to clean stains.

The foaming action created by the carbonation in the soda loosens tough stain particles so that you can remove them from your floor. Most tile surfaces will not show any signs of damage following a cleaning with club soda, but take the time to conduct a small surface test in an inconspicuous spot prior to cleaning for maximum security.
